Mysuru: Unable to bear the death of her husband, a woman from city along with her two children jumped into the Nethravathi River in Mangaluru. Though the woman was rescued by local fishermen, she breathed her last in a hospital. Search is on for the two children.
The woman has been identified as 57-year-old Kavitha Mandanna (Puchimada) and her children are 29-year-old Kaushik and 27-year-old Kalpitha. They are the residents of Vijayanagar Fourth Stage in city. The woman’s husband 65-year-old Kishan Mandanna (Kalmadanda) had died of a heart attack on Sept.27 and the family was unable to bear the shock.
