Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Prabhu Channabasava Swamiji (Athaneesha) of Athani’s Sri Motagimutt in Belagavi district has been selected for Sri Shivarathreeshwara Award for his book titled ‘Mahatmara Charitamrutha.’
The award, instituted by Sri Shivarathreeshwara Religious Endowment of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, carries a cash prize of Rs.25,000 and a citation. The award will be conferred on him at a programme to be held shortly. Sri Shivarathreeshwara award has been presented to 32 books so far.
