‘Shikshana Seva Ratna’ for former Mandya DDPUE

Mysuru: Former Mandya Deputy Director of Pre-University Education (DDPUE) B.M. Srikantaiah was conferred ‘Shikshana Seva Ratna’ award at a programme organised by Karnataka Vichara Vedike at Hardwicke PU College on JLB Road here recently. Speaking as the chief guest on the occasion, writer Dr. Malali Vasanthkumar said that it was a day of moment for Srikantaiah, who had served the PU Education Department with honesty and integrity. Noting that Srikantaiah’s service to the Department was outstanding, he said that Srikantaiah was very much admired by the teaching community for his simplicity and humility. B.M. Srikantaiah couple were felicitated on the occasion. Retired DDPUE K.M. Puttu, Vedike President and Hardwicke PU College Principal Hirimarali Dharmaraju, Karnataka State PU Principals Association Mandya District President Guruswamy and others were present during the programme.
