Mysuru: District Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Mysuru and Dr. K.S. Gowdaiah Pratishtana, K.R. Nagar, had organised a programme titled ‘Shantaveri Gopala Gowda - Ondu Nenapu’ at the District Sahitya Bhavan in Vijayanagar 1st Stage here recently.
Inaugurating the programme, scholar Dr. Kalegowda Nagawara hailed Shantaveri Gopala Gowda as an honest politician with socialistic thoughts coupled with a good literary consciousness. He recalled that Gopala Gowda, as an Opposition Member during D. Devaraj Urs Government, always fought for the problems of people.
