Mysuru: A man, who had sexually assaulted a minor girl in 2017, has been sentenced to 10 years jail and a fine of Rs.30,000 has been imposed on him by the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Special Court here.
The accused is Yallappa, a resident of Telaginakuppe in the taluk. The accused, on Apr.12, 2017 had sexually assaulted an eight-year-old girl and the girl’s mother had lodged a complaint with Periyapatna Police in this regard.
