Madikeri: The Virajpet Second Additional District and Sessions Court has sentenced a CRPF Soldier to 20 years imprisonment and has imposed a fine of Rs. 96,000 after he was found guilty of sexually assaulting a minor girl last year.
The CRPF Soldier who has been sentenced is C.B. Nithin, a resident of Manandawadi in Kerala. The accused, on Mar. 12, 2019, had sexually assaulted a minor girl at Puligeri village in Virajpet taluk and had also threatened to kill her.
