Mysuru: The Legislature Committee on Women and Child Welfare headed by N.A. Haris held a review meeting at the Zilla Panchayat auditorium in city this morning.
The Committee sought information on various issues from Deputy Commissioners and officials of various departments belonging to both Mysuru and Chamarajanagar districts. The Committee first sought information about female foeticide in both districts and also action taken against the scanning centres allegedly involved in sex determination.
