Mysuru: Maintaining that divisive forces opposed Dr. S.L. Bhyrappa’s epic work ‘Aavarana’ unable to digest his growing popularity, linguist and former Kuvempu Bhasha Bharathi Chairman Dr. Pradhan Gurudatta alleged that certain intellectuals from the State stalled Malayalam translation of Bhyrappa’s works.
He was speaking after releasing Chintana-Mantana, a collection of interviews of Dr. Bhyrappa on the first-day of the two-day Dr. S.L. Bhyrappa Sahityotsava-2019 organised by S.L. Bhyrappa Sahitya Pratishtana at Kalamandira here on Saturday.
