Mysore/Mysuru: Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof. Sharanappa V. Halse said that the service of Nurses is as important as that of Doctors. While Doctors examine patients and provide treatment, Nurses win the heart of patients through nursing care that play a key role in recovery, he noted.
He was speaking after inaugurating International Nurses Day celebrations at Suyog Hospital in Ramakrishnanagar here recently commemorating the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale.
