Mysore/Mysuru: Dr. R.S. Umakanth, Associate Professor, Department of Sericulture Science, University of Mysore, has received the prestigious “Research Excellence Award 2023” for his commendable contributions to research and teaching in the field of “Biochemical Genetics of Silkworm and Breeding.”
The award was presented to him at the “3rd Biotic Science Congress (BioSCon 23) and International Conference on Advancement in Plant Health Research - Retrospect and Prospect” held during December 2023 at Visva Bharati University, Shantiniketan, West Bengal by Society for Biotic and Environmental Research (SBER), Tripura.
