The Department of Pharmaceutics, JSS College of Pharmacy, JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSS AHER) have organised “Print Your Organ,” a one day seminar on “Bio Printing in Life Sciences” on Saturday (Sept. 14) at Sri Rajendra Auditorium at 9.30 am. Bio Printing in Life Sciences is an extension of traditional 3D printing. It can produce living tissue, bone, blood vessels and potentially whole organs for using in medical procedures, training and testing. Bio-printing technology has expansive applications in surgery, personalised medicine, diagnostics and drug discovery. More than 300 participants from industry, staff and students from Pharmacy, Medical, Dental, Life Science and Engineering Colleges will participate. .
