Mysuru: The Chair in Christianity and the Department of Studies in Christianity jointly conducted a seminar and Christmas function at the Humanities Auditorium, University of Mysore on Dec. 16. The Most Rev. Dr. Antony Kariyil, Bishop of Mandya Diocese spoke on Christianity and Development. The Most Rev. Dr. K.A. William, Bishop of Mysore Diocese, in his presidential address, spoke about the importance and meaning of Christmas. He called upon all to understand the three pearls of Christmas - love, peace and joy.
