Mysuru: The Byadarahalli Police in Bengaluru have arrested a person for allegedly raping a woman in the guise of securing a seat for her child in a school under the Right To Education (RTE) Act. The accused M. Anandkumar hails from Mysuru and is a resident of Byadarahalli D-Group Layout in Bengaluru.
Anandkumar is a self-styled State President of ‘Kannada Siri’ organisation and now he has been sent for judicial custody based on the complaint filed by the victim woman. Police said that Anandkumar is a native of Mysuru and used to lead a lavish lifestyle in the name of Kannada Siri organisation and he used to travel across the State collecting money and donations for his organisation in the guise of social service.
