Mysuru: Writer Dr. V. Munivenkatappa, a resident of Ganga Road, Kuvempunagar in city, has been selected for the ‘Sahityashri’ Award for the year 2017, given by Karnataka Sahitya Academy, Bengaluru. The award carries a cash prize of Rs. 25,000 and a citation.
Dr. Munivenkatappa will receive the award at a programme to be held at Ravindra Kalakshetra in Bengaluru at 4.30 pm on Mar.16.
