Mysuru: Bengaluru-based Buddha Basava Gandhi Samskruthika Prathisthana, Karnataka Gandhi Smaraka Nidhi and Gandhi Shanthi Prathisthana have chosen city-based Spandana Samskruthika Parishat Founder-President T. Satish Javaregowda for Gandhi - Vivekananda Sadbhavana State Award for the year 2019 for his outstanding contributions to society. Satish is currently working as a primary school teacher at Mellahalli Government Higher Primary School in the taluk.
Karnataka Sanskrit University’s former Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mallepuram G. Venkatesh will confer the award to Satish at the valedictory of the State-level Yuvajana Sammelana on Mar.10 at Sheshadripuram College in Bengaluru. Gandhi Shanthi Prathisthana President Jeerige Ramesh, Ramanagar Zilla Panchayat President B.V. Hamsakumari and others will take part.
