Mysuru: Dr. H.N. Vishwanath, Faculty of Education, Sarada Vilas Teachers College, Mysuru, has been selected for the State-level Guru Chetana award instituted for the first time by Davanagere’s Educationist Dr. H.V. Vasudevappa Charitable Trust and Education Trust. The award, comprising a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 and a citation will be presented at a ceremony to be held on Sept. 29 at Maganuru Basappa Sabha Bhavan, Davanagere at 11 am.
A Ph.D degree holder, Dr. Vishwanath has served in the education field in various capacities for over 24 years.
