Dr. S.P. Yoganna, Medical Writer and Chairman of Suyog Hospital, Mysuru, has been selected for ‘Dr. P.S. Shankar Shreshta Vaidya Sahiti Award’ instituted by Dr. P.S. ShankarPratishtana, Kalaburagi.The award will be conferred at a ceremony to be held at Kalaburagi on Jan. 1, 2025. Prof. B.K. Tulasimala, Vice-Chancellor, Karnataka State Akkamahadevi Women’s University, Vijayapura, will present the award.
Dr. S.P. Yoganna is the Editor of ‘Vaidya Vishwakosha’ (medical encyclopaedia in Kannada) and has authored more than 35 medical works so far. His works have received numerous awards such as Kannada SahityaAkademi Award, Kannada SahityaParishat Award and Indian Medical Association (IMA) Kannada BarahagararaBalaga’sShreshta VaidyaSahitiPrashasti.
