The following yoga students of Mysore Vivekananda Yoga Education and Research Institution, Vijayanagar, who represented Karnataka State in the First Federation Cup Yogasana competition conducted by Yoga Federation of India at Jimmy George Indoor Stadium, Trivandrum, Kerala, won 11 medals and selected for the 7th Asian Yoga Championship to be held at Singapore between July 28 and 30, 2017. The prize winners are: H. Kushi (1 Gold in Solo Artistic, 1 Silver in Yogasana, 1 Bronze in Rythamic Pair, 4th place in Artistic Pair); Anjali Bhaskar (1 Bronze in Rythmic Pair); Amulya Narayan (4th place in Artistic Pair, 6th place in Rythamic Pair, 6th place in Yogasana); Ankitha (4th place in Yogasana, 6th place in Rythamic Pair); Vignesh (4th place in Yogasana, 6th place in Artistic solo). All the 5 have been selected for 7th Asian Yoga Championship to be held at Singapore with coach Dr. P.N. Ganesh Kumar.
