Mysore/Mysuru: The documentary titled ‘Pandit Rajeev Taranath - A Life in Music’ will be screened in Mysuru on Saturday (Oct. 21) at 4.30 pm as part of Dasara Festival. The venue is INOX Mall on M.G. Road.
The film is a tribute to the musical genius of Pt. Rajeev Taranath, the renowned Hindustani Sarod Maestro and a disciple of the illustrious Sarod exponent Ustad Ali Akbar Khan, hailed as one of the chief exponents of Maihar Senia Allauddin gharana that traces its origin to Saraswathi, daughter of Tansen.
