Mysuru: In a tragic incident, a 24-year-old youth was killed on the spot, when the Honda Activa Scooter (KA-04 EY-5176) he was riding, was knocked down by a tractor (KA-55 T-934) near Gundu Rao Nagar on Mysore-Nanjangud Road this morning.
The deceased youth has been identified as Jayant, son of M.L. Krishnamurthy of Deendayal Upadhyaya Layout, Koppaluru in the taluk. Jayant was travelling towards Gundu Rao Nagar, when the tractor coming from Nanjangud side fatally knocked him down at about 9.10 am.
