Mysore Science Foundation is organising a eight-day Science Workshop in city from May 5 to 12 at Jnanodaya PU College here. The workshop is being organised for students who are studying in 7th standard to Pre-University. The workshop intends to promote scientific temperament among students and also to enable them to carry out simple experiments using laboratory equipment mainly in subject like Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The workshop also introduces students to conduct Physics and Chemistry experiments using virtual software, Origami Mathematics, solving Mathematical puzzles, production of Herbarium, manufacture of Foldscope Microscope, experiments to find out adulteration in food items, quiz, walk to create awareness about environment and educational tour.
