Sarada Vilas College, Mysuru, is celebrating National Science Day on Feb. 28 to commemorate the discovery of the ‘Raman Effect’ by Sir C V Raman. To motivate students to pursue science as a career and to bring young minds towards research in basic sciences, the College is organising inter-collegiate science competitions such as Science Quiz, Science poster-making, Science models, Biological Rangoli and Nature Photography. The Science Fest will be inaugurated on Feb.28 at 10 am by Prof. G.R. Janardhana, Professor of Botany and Director, International Centre, University of Mysore.
