Scholarships and Fellowships: Calling Ph.D students

The District Officer of Backward Classes Department has invited online applications from eligible Ph.D students, who are engaged in full-time Ph.D studies for monthly scholarships and fellowships. Applicants must belong to Backward Classes Category-1, 2(A), 3(A) and 3(B). Online application must be submitted before Jan. 20. Candidates must be a permanent resident of Karnataka and must belong to any of the categories stated above. The annual income limit for Category - 1, 2(A) and 3(A) is Rs. 4.5 lakh and for Category - 3(B) is Rs. 3.5 lakh. They should have scored a minimum 55 percent marks in Post-Graduate degree examinations. Applicants who want to register for full-time fellowships, must have studied in first year Ph.D 2 years prior to the last day of submitting applications.
