Sarojamma Gurunathappa (90), retired arts teacher, passed away on July 7 in city. She was the daughter of ivory sculptor late Venkappa and wife of late Gurunathappa.
She leaves behind her sons, daughters, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Sarojamma, who continued her father’s tradition, served as an arts teacher for about 48 years. Her art works were being displayed during Dasara Expo and she had won many prizes.
