Under RUSA scheme, UG and PG Sanskrit Departments of University of Mysore (UoM) have jointly organised a two-day workshop titled ‘Samskrita Navanavonmesha’ on Jan. 22 and 23, at Department of Studies in Sanskrit, Manasagangothri. There will be 8 sessions of 90 minutes each. Presentations will be followed by open discussions. Eminent scholars include Dr. H.V. Nagaraja Rao, Dr. Vinayachandra Banavati, Dr. K. Raghavendra Pai, Dr. Surya Hebbar, Dr. Gowri Srinivas, Dr. G.B. Harish, Dr. Sharath Chandra Swamy and H.S. Sudarshan will throw light on emerging dimensions pertaining to Sanskrit. Entry is free but registration is mandatory. Teachers are eligible for OOD and participation certificate. Seats are limited to 40 participants only.
