Sandal Urus Shariff of Hazarath Tipu Sultan Shaheed on Aug. 1

The 227th Sandal Urus Shariff of Hazarath Tipu Sultan Shaheed will be held on Aug. 1 at 11.45 am in Meelad Bagh on Ashoka Road in city under the guidance of Sir Khazi of Mysuru Hazarath Moulana Mohammed Usman Shariff. Bishop of Mysuru Most Rev. Dr. K.A. William and Prof. Bhashyam Swamiji of Sri Yoganarasimhaswamy Temple in Vijayanagar will grace the occasion. A Sandal procession will be taken out along with Fukras, Darvesh, Sufizum and Duff which will pass through Ashoka Road, St. Philomena’s Church Circle and Fountain Circle to reach Bada Makhan in Tipu Circle and will later proceed in trucks to Masjid Allaha to join Tipu State Wakf Sandal procession to reach Tipu tomb in Srirangapatna.
