Mysuru: Blue Whale video game is causing untold misery as children and students indulging in this game are committing suicides. Hence, the Centre should come forward to ban this game, urged Primary and Secondary Education Minister Tanveer Sait in a letter to the Information and Technology (IT) Minister.
Addressing media persons at the Palace premises, here yesterday, he said that technology is a double-edged sword. The recent suicide of a student playing the Blue Whale game in Kerala is a warning signal.
