Karnataka State Safai Karmachari Commission Chairman M. Shivanna will undertake a tour of the district from July 6.
Shivanna, who will arrive in city tomorrow, will hold a meeting at 10 am with officers regarding the grievances of cleaning workers at K.R. Hospital. At 2.30 pm, he will hold a grievances meeting with cleaning staff at Mysuru District Co-operative Milk Producers’ Societies’ Union. At 4 pm he will hold a preliminary meeting at Jaladarshini Guest House on Hunsur Road, with respect to awareness programme for Safai Karmacharis and workshops for their children, according to Social Welfare Department Joint Director.
