The Staff Cricket team of National Institute of Engineering (NIE), Mysuru, bagged Runners-Up Trophy in JSS Science and Technology University’s Mysuru City Engineering Colleges Staff Tennis Ball Cricket Championship-2018, organised by Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE) at its campus recently. Lohith Singh of Team NIE Staff was declared as 'Player of the Championship' and 'Best Batsman.' He had scored 211 runs from four matches with 18 Sixes and 10 Boundaries. Earlier, the team was placed 2nd Runners-Up in State-level Engineering College Staff Cricket Championship organised by Nagarjuna College of Engineering, Bengaluru.
