Mysore/Mysuru: The Madhava Krupa Ganesha Utsava Committee of Shri Janajagarana Trust, in association with Kamakshi Hospitals (Kuvempunagar and J.P. Nagar), Mysuru, has organised a community marathon with the theme ‘Run for Ganesha - Say No to Drugs’ in city tomorrow (Aug. 24). The Run will be flagged off at Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple, Palace North Gate, at 6.45 am.
The Run aims to create awareness about the health hazards of drug abuse and encourage citizen vigilance to protect the younger generation. Organisers expect 1,000-1,500 runners, including students, youths, fitness groups and families.
