Mysuru: The resting place of the rulers of the erstwhile Wadiyar dynasty at Madhuvana on Nanjangud Road has always been an abode which has aroused the curiosity of the citizens, as it has a rich history.
Right from Lakshmammanni, the third wife of Immadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar, who was cremated here, to the first big ruler Maharaja Mummadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar whose Brindavan is there right at the entrance to the cemetery, many of the members belonging to the royal family have their final resting place here.
