Theatre personalities Shylaja and Udayakumar Gejje Hejje will be conferred with ‘Rotary Kadamba Ranga’ award at a programme to take place under the joint aegis of Kadamba Rangavedike and Rotary Mysore North at Kirurangamandira in Kalamandira premises at 6.30 pm on Mar.15. Announcing this at a press meet here on Monday, Kadamba Rangavedike President Rajashekar Kadamba said that senior actor Girija Lokesh will confer the award on the two theatre personalities. Rotary Zone-8 Assistant Governor M.K. Nanjaiah and Rotary Mysore North President M.K. Sridhar will be present. Bengaluru’s Payana troupe will perform a humour play titled ‘Namgen Belene Elva’ directed by Arun Surya at 7 pm the same day, he said.
Rotary Mysore North Secretary Raju and Vedike Secretary Subbanarasimha were present.
