Indian opener Rohit Sharma, who was out of International cricket due to an injury sustain in an ODI match against New Zealand in October 2016, will return to competitive cricket by leading the India ‘Blue’ team in the Prof. D.B. Deodhar Trophy to commence from Mar. 25 at Vizag. Though, Rohit played to matches for Mumbai in the recently concluded Vijay Hazare Trophy, it didn’t turn out the way he had expected. The Deodhar Tournament will be a real boost for Rohit to prepare himself for Indian Premiere League. The All India Senior Selection Committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also picked the following players to represent the India ‘Blue’ and India ‘Red’ teams at the Prof. D.B. Deodhar Trophy 2017.
