The second State-level Robo Wrestling competition “ROBO-RIKISHI-2017”, sponsored by Technical Education Quality Improvement Program TEQIP-II was organised by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, NIE, recently.
Dr. Sreekanta Gupta, Principal Consultant, Infosys Technologies, Mysuru, who inaugurated the event, spoke about how practical skills would improve the quality of education. He insisted upon bringing more project based learning courses into the curriculum. He also expressed his view on how students can sharpen their competitive spirit and product designing skills through participating in technical events like ‘’Robo-Rikishi’.’
