Mysuru: An RO purified water unit, installed by Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) in front of Shariff Function Hall on Syed Abdul Rehman Road in Udayagiri for the benefit of the residents of Rajivnagar, Udayagiri, Shanthinagar and surrounding areas, was inaugurated by former Mayor and Ward 52 Corporator Ayub Khan recently.
Residents can avail 20 litres of purified water by inserting Rs.5 coin into the machine and the unit will be open 24x7. A borewell has also been sunk at a cost of Rs.12.5 lakh to supply water to the RO unit.
