Mysore/Mysuru: Railway Workshop of Mysuru has manufactured the motor coach wheel set required for Electric Multiple Units of BEML. According to an official press release here, the BEML had requested the Workshop to supply 900 wheels for 225 trailer coach cars and 300 wheel set for 75 motor coach cars.
Accordingly, first consignment of six wheel sets were manufactured and is ready for dispatch. So far, the Workshop has manufactured 188 trailer coach wheels and 52 motor coach wheels. They will be used for 8 coach MEM being manufactured by BEML, Delhi.
