Mysore/Mysuru: Expressing concern over rising cases of heart ailments among younger generation, Dr. K.S. Sadananda, Medical Superintendent, Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, Mysuru, attributed the rise to changing lifestyles and food habits. He was speaking after inaugurating a free heart check-up camp for journalists organised by Mysuru District Journalists Association (MDJA) at Jayadeva Hospital on KRS Road here yesterday.
Pointing out that apart from changing lifestyles, strain less work and lack of physical exercises too are contributory factors for heart-related ailments, Dr. Sadananda said that people must be cautious about high blood pressure and abnormal blood sugar levels.
