A two-wheeler rider was killed when a goods vehicle hit the bike he was riding near Anjaneyaswamy Temple at Kalasthavadi on the Service Road of the Mysuru-Bengaluru Highway on June 3.

The deceased has been identified as M.R. Keertish (24), a resident of Guddenahalli village in Periyapatna taluk.

On June 3 evening, Keertish was proceeding on the Service Road on his bike (KA-12-Y-0694) towards Bengaluru when a speeding goods vehicle (KA-55-7860), which came from the opposite direction hit the bike near the Temple resulting in Keertish sustaining serious head injuries.

Though he was being rushed to a hospital, he is said to have breathed his last mid way.

Based on the complaint from Keertish’s father Rathnakar, NR Traffic Police have registered a case.
