The Directorate of Health and Family Welfare of Karnataka has issued orders asking all districts to reserve 10 percent of beds for doctors, non-medical staff and their families in case of they contract Coronavirus. This order has been issued to all District Health Officers and District Surgeons to take immediate steps in this regard. Accordingly, 10 percent of beds have been reserved for them in Designated Covid Hospitals with immediate effect.
It has been done in the wake of doctors, non-medical staff and their families becoming the victims of contagion.
