Mysuru: The works on repairing the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) office main building on Sayyaji Rao Road in city, which is leaking following recent rains, will be taken up from tomorrow.
As there was no provision made to allow smooth passage of rain water on the terrace of the heritage building, rain water began to seep from the roof. The recent downpour had caused extensive leakages across offices and chambers, including the MCC Commissioner’s chamber and the Old Council Hall. Even a portion of the Plaster-of-Paris (PoP) false ceiling in Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar New Council Hall on the ground floor had collapsed.
