Mysuru: The State Government has granted post-facto approval for the release of Rs. 1,51,29,199 for the renovation of heritage buildings in Mysuru city, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Mysuru City Corporation. This funding is part of the Nagarothana Phase III project, aimed at preserving the architectural heritage of the region.
The approval follows concerns about the initial withholding of funds for the renovation project. In light of this, the Director of the Directorate of Municipal Administration submitted a proposal to the Government requesting post-facto approval for the disbursement of funds, highlighting that the payments had already been made to workers involved in the project.
