The books written by JSS Mahavidyapeetha retired Principal Dr. Chandrashekharaiah and retired District Health Officer of Hassan Dr. H.S. Rudresh will be released at a programme jointly organised by city’s Samvahana Prakashana and Usha Sahitya Male on June 19 at 10.30 am at Rotary Mysore West auditorium on Kamakshi Hospital Road, Saraswathipuram in city. Retired Principal and humourist Prof. M. Krishnegowda will release ‘Dheera Sanyasi’, autobiography of Taralabalu Jagadguru Sri Shivakumara Swamiji written by Dr. Chandrashekharaiah while JSS Mahavidyapeetha College Education Division Director Prof. Morabada Mallikarjuna will release Dr. H.S. Rudresh’s three books ‘Tapaswini’, a drama on Urmile, ‘Kannamuche Kadegude’ (collection of stories) and ‘Bhava Bimba’ (collection of poems).
Senior litterateur Dr. C.P. Krishnakumar (CPK) will preside. Senior Theatre artiste N. Nagachandra will speak on ‘Tapaswini’ while lecturer Dr. Mahendra Murthy Devanur will speak on ‘Kannamuche Kadegude’ and ‘Bhava Bimba.’ Samvahana Prakashana Publisher D.N. Lokappa and others will be present. Also, there will be vachana gayana by Choodamani.
