Those insurance policy holders of Postal Life Insurance (PLI) and Rural Postal Life Insurance (RPLI) with lapsed insurance policies for non-payment of premium for five consecutive years can reinstate their policies by providing medical certificate and other necessary documents at their nearest Post Office before Mar.31, 2020. Lapsed insurance policies for non-payment of premium for five consecutive years will not be reinstated from Apr.1, 2020, according to a press release from the Superintendent of Posts, Nanjangud.
