Mysuru: Mysuru District Superintendent of Police (SP) N. Vishnuvardhana has issued an order suspending Yelwal Sub-Inspector (SI) M. Manjunatha Nayaka, Special Branch Head Constable (HC) Narayana and Head Constable Nanjunde Raje Urs, who was responsible for conducting patrolling, on charges of negligence and dereliction of duty. Though the rave party was organised in a big way, the SI had stated that he had no information about the rave party.
The order issued yesterday stated that though the party was organised in Yelwal Police jurisdiction by erecting a tent, installing a generator for DJ music, over 150 people partying the whole night, it is negligent on the part of the SI to state that he had no information about it, which amounts to dereliction of duty.
