Mysuru-based theatre group Ranga Sangama will be conducting a two-day theatre festival and felicitation programme ‘Rangasangamotsava-2017’ from Mar. 28 at Vanaranga in Rangayana premises. The programme will be inaugurated by Theatre Director S.R. Ramesh at 6.30 pm. Kannada and Culture Assistant Director H. Chennappa will be the chief guest. Sri Illai Alwar Swamiji of Vangipur Mutt, Melukote and Theatre Director Mohanraj Shetty will be present. The inauguration ceremony will be followed by felicitation programme. Later, the artistes of Rangananda will stage the play ‘Karnataka Ramaaramana’ written by Kakolu Sarojarao and directed by Rangaswamy. The valedictory event will be held on Mar. 29 at 6.30 pm.
