A meeting of the Mysuru District Hilal (Moon) Committee has been convened at the Office of the District Waqf Advisory Committee, Muslim Boys Orphanage campus, New Sayyaji Rao Road, on Sunday (May 5) after Namaz-e-Maghrib at 6.45 pm to sight the Moon of Holy Month of Ramzan-2019 and to declare the commencement of Ramadan fasting. Members of public are requested to contact the Hilal Committee personally or over following telephone numbers to inform the sighting of moon to the Committee with witness or to get the information regarding sighting of Moon, according to a press release from Ariff A. Mehkri, Chairman, Mysore District Waqf Advisory Committee, who is also the Convenor of the Mysuru District Moon Committee.
