The Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) Health Officer has issued a notification banning sale of all kinds of meat in the city on Apr. 17 and also Apr. 21 on account of Ramanavami and Mahaveer Jayanthi. Accordingly, all meat shops and slaughter houses in MCC limits have been ordered to shut down today and on Apr. 21, according to a press release.
