Mysuru lad S. Rakesh, son of well known wrestler B.S. Shankar Chakravarthy (KSP, Mysuru), representing Karnataka in the National Junior Wrestling Championships 2016-17 at Andhra Pradesh won the bronze medal in the 100kg plus category yesterday. Earlier, Rakesh, a I PUC student of Marimallappa's PU College, had won the bronze medal in the National PU Wrestling Championships held at Delhi. He is being coached by L. Manjappa, Retd. SAI wrestling coach.
