Mysuru: Urging houses to be built at sites allotted to them, beneficiaries of Rajiv Gandhi Housing Corporation staged a protest in front of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) office on Friday.
Stating that MCC had invited applications under Rajiv Gandhi Housing Corporation scheme during the year 2000 and offered to build houses on 20x30 site under the scheme, the protesters said that 2,000 beneficiaries were selected under the scheme in the year 2002-03. But 823 beneficiaries including themselves have not been given houses, they alleged.
