Mysuru: Deputy Commissioner D. Randeep, speaking to SOM here this morning, said that the box drain near Manandavadi Road - H.D. Kote Road was at a 90 degree angle and it had to be straightened. “The technical bid was completed and the financial bid was opened yesterday. The drain will be straightened shortly. MUDA will take up the Rs. one crore work and complete it in six months,” he said.
The survey work on the 11-km Raja Kaluve that runs in several parts of the city has been completed. There is a lot of encroachment and once the survey report comes out we will inspect the spots next week, he added.
